Warren Hatcher Obituary

Warren John Hatcher passed into Jesus' arms on Friday the 23rd of August, surrounded by his loving parents, sister, family, and friends. Warren was born in New Orleans on March 10th, 2022, the son of Anne and Austin Hatcher. His big sister, Lilli, welcomed him with hugs and kisses. Lilli and Warren ("Bubbee" at home to his family) enjoyed their time together playing and cuddling under the covers to watch Wallace & Gromit and all of the great Disney classics, like his favorite, 101 Dalmatians. Warren spun sunshine. Warren's brand of life was built with love, happiness, and joy. His smile, laughter, abundant hugs, snuggles and kisses warmed the hearts of everyone who fell under his spell. Warren exuded energy and was full of life and love. Seeking out mud to play in and finding new sticks in the yard to play with instead of all his toys were his favorite playtimes. His favorite things above all were a big 'BABA' (bottle) of whole milk he would love to tote around with him and to hop up in your lap and cuddle with you while he drank. He was loved by his dogs, Onyx and Beaux, and cat, Luna. Warren was full of exuberance and playing with Dad and Lilli in the backyard was his version of pure joy. Warren found his greatest happiness and love being in his mother's arms to cuddle and shower her with the biggest kisses. Warren bounded into our lives and hearts and left us much too soon. Warren will always be remembered and cherished by those who were fortunate to have held him in their arms. Warren is survived by his parents; sister, Lillianne; grandparents, Steve and Regina Hatcher, Holly Hatcher, Richard and Mary Alice Rathe, Pamela Rathe; his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, godparents, Kait and Ben Capella, family friends, wonderful neighbors and his classmates at Cedarwood. Warren became an Organ Donor Hero at Children's Hospital. If your heart leads you to honor Warren, please donate to Children's Hospital of New Orleans PICU and LOPA. Warren's family will be forever grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff who so lovingly cared for him as one of their own. A Celebration of Warren's Life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6367 St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana. Visitation will begin at 9:30 and Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Following the Celebration of Life, there will be a reception at 11:30 AM to toast Warren at Metairie Country Club, 580 Woodvine Avenue, Metairie, Louisiana. For those attending: To pay tribute to Warren, please wear only bright colors, no black. We want to celebrate a life that was full of color. I've been out of the country for several weeks and I'm trying to catch up with all the local news. I just came upon Warren's funeral notice and felt compelled to let you know that I'll pray that the Hatcher Family can find some peace during this painful time and those to come.

May God spread his continuing love to all of you. Keep the faith for God has told us that all things work together for the good of mankind. It's just hard for us to realize how this is good in our limited minds. All the more to trust in the Lord. Amen.

Warren was full of joy and happiness. I am honored that I had the pleasure to be a part of this family´s life. The love and compassion of this family touched my heart as a teacher last school year. I will miss that sweet face. Thank you for Lilli who made a difference in my life and sharing your babies with me. You are in my prayers and thoughts. I am sending hugs and love to you all. Love always

Austin, Anne and Lilli, my heart breaks for each of you, your Family and Friends. Since recently loosing my 19 year old granddaughter after a 6 years battle with brain cancer, I understand the deep pain that each of you are experiencing. I have been praying and will continue to pray for peace for you all. Austin, we have been co-workers for just a few months, but want you to know that I am a phone call away should you need someone to talk to. Trust in God and he will protect you...God Bless. There are times when I question my faith. This is one
of them. Being a grandparent, this crushes me to my soul.
How strong you must be to endure such a loss of this magnitude. Im sure his donations have brought joy to those that received. Thank you for sharing him so that others may live.

Although we never had the opportunity to meet little "Bubs" we know he created much joy for his family. He will be sorely missed, but he is now enjoying playing with the angels in Heaven and is surrounded by pure Love.
May his entire family be greatly consoled by this visual.

I do not know you, but I want to offer my prayers and condolences to your family as you send your beautiful gift back to His God. Some who experience after death events say that there is a nursery in Heaven for children who die at an early age. He will be surrounded by other little angels. Know that you will meet again and your heart will rejoice. God bless you!
