Wilbur Olson Obituary

OLSON Wilbur John "Jack" Olson passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the age of 92. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Elma Risbourg Olson. Survived by a son Ken J. Olson (Debbie). Grandfather to Jennifer O. Grilletta (Sean) and Tim J. Olson (Lauren). Great-Grandfather to Addison and Gage Grilletta and Sebastian and Aria Olson. Jack was the son of the late George and Marie F. Olson and brother of the late George F. Olson (Shirley). Jack was a World War II Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a native of Waukesha, Wisconsin and resident of Jefferson Parish for the past sixty-five years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church, 1000 N. Starrett Road, Metairie, LA, on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7pm. Visitation will be at the Church beginning at 6:30pm until Mass time.
