Rachel, we are so sorry to hear about your dad. Thanks for letting us know. We have read about him, and what a wonderful, outstanding man he was. I know this also describes what a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather he was. We wish we had known him for a longer time. We are thinking about you and all of the family, and saying a prayer for all.

We will miss having Mac with us at Manresa as he has been for so many years, a model retreatant if ever there was one. Rest assured that he - and all of you, his family - will be rememberred in our parayers during or retreat next month.

-----

God the creator and redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the soul of Your departed servent Mac the remission of all of his sins, that he may obtain the pardon he has always desired. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen

May the angels lead him into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome him and take him to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem. May choirs of angels welcome him and lead him to the bosom of Abraham; and where Lazarus is poor no longer may he find eternal rest.

May saints and angels lead him on, escorting him where Christ has gone. Now he has been called to come to the peace of Abraham and to the supper of the Lamb, to the glory of the blessed, and to perpetual light and rest.

May his soul and the souls of all of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
