William Wayne "Billy" Davis

1959 - 2023

William (Billy) Wayne Davis, 64, of Gulf Breeze, FL, passed away on August 10, 2023 with his loving wife and children by his side after a lengthy illness. Billy was born on May 8, 1959 to loving parents James (Helen) Evans Davis in Atlanta, GA. He graduated high school from Ft. Walton Beach High School in 1977. After high school, he started in the oil industry by working offshore out of Louisiana where he continued for the next 39 years. He was a hard-working and loving husband and father. He retired due to his illness in 2016. He is survived by his wife Lisa Davis, son, William Gavin Davis, daughter, Victoria Grace Davis, brother, William (Jamie) Davis, two nephews, three nieces, many great-nieces and nephews and their families, cousins and other extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Evans Davis and Helen Keffer, and brother Mike Davis. He passed away on his mother's birthday, August 10, 2023. The love between a son and his mother is unbreakable, even in death. Private services were held. He was buried at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
