William ""Billy'' Niles on Saturday, April 5, 2003. Beloved son of Stewart E. Niles, Sr. and Gladys M. Niles. Brother of Stewart E. Niles, Jr. Step-brother of Diane Ballard. Brother-in-law of Dr. Cherie Niles and Joseph Ballard. Fiance' of Patty Cowan. Also survived by other relatives and friends from Louisiana, Kentucky and New York. Age 51 years. A native of Buras, LA. and a resident of New York, N.Y. for the past 20 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral Mass to be celebrated in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, INC., 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA. on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open Saturday morning 9:00 A.M. until the funeral time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Little Sister of the Poor, Mary Joseph Residence, 4201 Woodland Dr., Algiers, LA. 70131

To lose someone you love is such a hard thing to endure, especially when his passing is so premature. You have my deepest sympathy, hoping that it helps you all to know that others empathize with your grief and sorrow. Though I only knew Billy as an upperclassman at DHA,I respected him.
