Sage, William Robert
William Robert Sage was born February 12, 1969 in Beeville, Texas and passed away on April 30,2021. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dotty LeBlanc. Bill was a graduate of Grace King High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. He worked several years in Las Vegas as a casino dealer as well as in the oil and gas industry in several states. He made his home in Hammond, Louisiana. He was the beloved son of Kathryn "Kita" Wagers Thorpe of Diamondhead, Mississippi. He is survived and cherished by his mother Kita, aunts and uncles; Cheri & Lonnie LeBlanc, Becky & Tim Fink, and Celia & George Wagers, cousins; Todd Massa, Tami Dana, Melissa Crosswhite, and Casey Godwin, his 2 best pet friends; Roxy & Sadie, and other longtime friends. A visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with the service following at 2 p.m. at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln-Delisle Road, Pass Christian, MS Father Paddy Mockler will be officiating the service. Southern Mississippi Funeral Services will be handling the arrangements on behalf of Mr. Sage's family.
