William Wolfe Obituary

William "Bill" Wolfe III passed away on October 4th, 2023 at the age of 63. Though he was born in Valley Forge, PA to William "Bill" Wolfe II and Nancy Wolfe, he's called Belle Chasse, LA home for the last four decades. After graduating in Belle Chasse High School's Class of '78 and subsequently earning an Associate's Degree at Phillips Junior College, he went on to dedicate over 30 years as an Electronics and Communications Technician at Tomba Communications and later Motorola Solutions. Bill pursued and excelled in many passions, filling every second of his spare time with art, music, photography, writing, and caring for his beloved dogs and reptiles. He was a certified drone pilot, a published author, a professional photographer, an award-winning model and diorama builder, and an alumnus of the band HEX. He loved loud music, true crime documentaries, and spending time with his family. He was the beloved husband of Melinda "Mendy" Wolfe, the loving father of Ash Wolfe and the cherished father-in-law of Ian Leisy. He is survived by his father, William "Bill" Wolfe II, mother Nancy Wolfe, mother-in-law Ella Mae Restivo, sisters Linda O'Keefe and Denise Gaines, brother Charles "Chuck" Wolfe, brother-in-law Raymond (Linda), sisters-in-law Sheila (David), Missy (Milton), and Jesslyn. Nieces Dawn (Christina), Mandy, Megan (Jeff), Emma, Nicole (Chad), Raelyn, Kristen, Stephanie, Rachel, and nephews Brandon, Corey, Casey (Tandra), Christian, Vincent, Jacob (Mandy), Christopher, Joey (Jessica), DJ, Darrell Jr., and Brandon, as well as a multitude of grand-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Ronald Raymond Restivo, brother-in-law Michael and nephew Ryan. Bill was an extraordinary man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 9pm on Monday, October 9th at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bill's name to the charity of your choice.

Hey buddy. I just wanted to tell you you're not forgotten and I think about you often. Like I told Mike a little while ago, life's not fair. And I don't understand it. Thank you for all the good times we had and all the great memories. I'll cherish them always. I miss you buddy. Rest in peace.

I loved Bill ...he thought I was a little bit of a conspiracy dude...We went to lunch one day, and on our way back to Tomba, he says Dave I think I see 2 UFO's....they sure looked like them ...he says to me... Dave I think your ahead of the curve...lol we laughed hard....going to miss you, Billy, was a pleasure working with you for ten years...you rock, always.
