I am so glad that God made it possible for Willie and I to have a long lasting friendship. One that I will forever cherish.
We often ran into each other in the New Orleans area and each time we would have long conversations, catching up on family and friends. Each conversation had a time that he spoke of you. As he spoke the joy of life was always present on his face. He displayed his love for you through conversation as well as expressions.
Willie was always a model of strength to me. He always provided wisdom that enlighten my heart. As I departed from your home on our last visit I said to him, "Willie, you take care." He responded by placing his hand on my shoulder and saying, "Elvie, don't you worry about me I am going to be alright," and then finalized the moment with that unforgettable smile. A smile that I will forever remember.

Sally Ann, You may be going through a trial so overwhelming that it's borderline unbearable. you want to see the end of the tunnel. Which is only natural, because once we see that little speck of light, we feel we can make it through to the finish. But God's tunnels are often twisting, too complex and dark to see the light for many days. In such settings He says, "In that dark, twisting, seemingly endless period of time, trust Him. Stop running scared! Stop fearing! God will always be there for you.
