I am sorry to hear of your mother's death. I do not know you, but your mother was my father's 1st cousin. His name was Myron Parr, the son of Agatha Mayeaux who was your grandfather's sister. I remember your grandfather and especially the Civil War cannon in his yard.

Yvonne was the nurse at our pediatrician's office, as well as a fellow member of St. Philip. We knew Sammy, who carpooled with my husband to work at SCB, and Yvonne very well and thought they were both lovely people. I saw Yvonne's Cajun nature first hand and enjoyed it so because I am also a Cajun. She was quite a special lady and we join you in mourning her loss.
