Cynthia Tech Obituary
September 26, 1971 - October 5, 2024
Cynthia Ann (Humes) Tech, age 53, of Valley, NE, passed away suddenly on October 5, 2024, in Miami, FL, after vacationing for her birthday with her husband Gregory Tech.
Cynthia was born September 26, 1971, in Council Bluffs, to Clifford and Kathryn (Sewell) Humes. She graduated from Lewis Central High School in 1990 then graduated college from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1994. She was united in marriage to Gregory Tech on July 1st, 1995, and to this union Cassandra and Dylan were born. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She loved spending time with the family, boating, skiing, and swimming. Lake Okoboji will always be her happy place.
Cindy worked as a regional office administrator for Jackson Lewis PC in Omaha, previously Berens and Tate, where she was responsible for locations in Omaha, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Madison.
Cindy was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Humes; grandfather, Clifford Humes, Sr.; grandmother, Jane Sewell; grandfather, Robert Sewell, Sr.
She is survived by husband of 29 years, Gregory Tech; and their two children, Cassandra and Dylan, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Parents, friends, and family are invited to Cynthia's memorial visitation, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Cynthia will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Walnut Hill Cemetery at a separate time. The family suggests memorials be sent directly to the family.
