Daniel Lee "Danny" Gray, age 65, of Tabor, IA, passed away July 17, 2025, at the Tabor Manor. Danny was born July 10, 1960, in Council Bluffs to Robert and Sharon (Lustgraaf) Gray, the oldest of 4 children. His family moved to California in 1968 where Danny spent his childhood. As an adult he worked at his dad's concrete business. After a tragic accident in 1997, Danny moved back to Iowa to recover and raise his youngest daughter, Cheyenne. In 2020, Danny suffered a severe stroke which placed him under skilled care at Tabor Manor. Danny was always lending a helping hand to anyone in need and loved riding his motorcycle with his many "brothers" and friends. Danny was preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Gray; stepdaughter, Charisse Azevedo; father, Robert Gray; brother, Tony Gray; grandparents, and many "brothers" and friends. Danny is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne; stepsons, Joseph, and Michael Azevedo; stepdaughter, Ashley; mother, Sharon Gray; brother, Kevin Gray; sister, Vicky Rhea; grandchildren, Nolan Kirsch, Alisse Fichter, Kinley Azevedo, and a large extended family and friends.

Visitation with the family, Friday from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. A luncheon will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Interment in the Tabor, IA Cemetery later. The family will direct memorial contributions.
