Edward E. Chevalier Jr.

February 3, 1961 - July 21, 2025

Edward E. Chevalier Jr., age 64, of Omaha, passed away July 21, 2025, in Omaha, Neb. Edward was born on February 3, 1961, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to the late Edward E. Chevalier Sr. and Darlene (McCoy) Chevalier, and moved to Omaha at an early age. He graduated from Creighton Prep High School and the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. Later, he attended UNO in Omaha and played football there. Edward proudly served in the U.S. Army and, while in service, was Military Police. Edward operated his veterinary clinic in Fairdealing, Missouri, for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Robert Kincaid III. Survivors include his sons, Jason (Stephanie) and Daniel, all of Omaha; daughter, Maria Dickerson of Dry Fork, Virginia; eight grandchildren, Khloe, Damian, Dylen, Liam, Rylee, Aubrey, Shaviya, and Gwen; brother, Marc (June) of Omaha; sisters, Connie Kincaid-Poff of Elkhorn, Neb., and Suzanne Chevalier of Millard, Neb.

Visitation: Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services: Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 9 a.m., at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. for the procession to the cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 East Pierce St., Council Bluffs.
