January 22, 1952 - July 22, 2024

Frank J. Savick, age 72, of Council Bluffs, passed away July 22, 2024, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank was born January 22, 1952, in Fort Belvoir, VA, to the late Frank and Virginia (Mickels) Savick. He moved to Plattsmouth, NE, at the age of two graduating from Plattsmouth High School in 1970. Frank married Veronica Black on January 23, 1981. He retired from the Iowa Department of Transportation in 2008 after a 30-year career. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica "Ronnie" Savick on October 15, 2015. Frank is survived by his son, Nicholas (Michelle) Savick; daughters, Katie (David Peter) Savick and Theresa Sindelar; grandchildren, Madison, and Gavin; brothers, Paul Savick, Tony (Deanne) Savick, Michael (Suzy) Savick, Edward Savick; nieces and nephews.

VISITATION with the family, Thursday, 5 to 7 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home. INTERMENT: Ridgewood Cemetery with a lunch following at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. The family will direct memorial contributions.
