Kenneth Maschmeier Obituary

Kenneth "Marty" L. Maschmeier, age 62, passed away April 28, 2022. He was born August 25, 1959, to Kenneth E. Maschmeier and Charlotte (Baker) Maschmeier in Beatrice, Nebraska. Kenneth graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and continued with classes at Iowa Western Community College. While Kenneth participated in many sports, his true passions included hunting and riding motorcycles. Kenneth worked for several printing companies in Omaha over the years and especially excelled at South Side Press, LTD. He then moved into the lawn business, where he owned and operated The Lawn Barber for many years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence and his grandparents. Kenneth is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Charlotte Maschmeier; son, Jeremy Maschmeier, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Maschmeier and Cameron Maschmeier Doner; and a host of other cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2022. Memorial Service will follow at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the service in the Hoy Kilnoski Community room. The family will direct memorials.
