Shirley Lewis Tomasiewicz

September 26, 1935 - February 24, 2025

Shirley Lewis Tomasiewicz, age 89, of Council Bluffs, passed away February 24, 2025, at her residence.

Shirley was born September 26,1935 in Council Bluffs to the late Paul and Ruby (Lewis) Forney and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the Class of 1953. She was united in marriage on April 5, 1974, to Louis Tomasiewicz and worked many years as a secretary for US Bank and Tip Top.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jim Harriman; sister, Patricia Jordan; and brother, Herbert Forney.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Louis; daughter, Sherry Gallegos and husband Ray, of Tucson, AZ; son, John Harriman, of Albuquerque, NM, 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Visitation, Saturday, 10:30 to 11 a.m., at Cutler O'Neill Funeral Home. Family and friends will leave for Memorial Park Cemetery for a graveside service, followed by a luncheon at the Walnut Hill Reception Center. Memorials are suggested to Hillcrest Hospice.
