Alvin W. Sklower

SKLOWER - Alvin W., age 69, died peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff. Alvin was born in New York, NY on September 16, 1932. He resided in Paris, France for 30 years before moving back to New York City prior to moving to Wyckoff less than a year ago. Alvin was a self-employed copywriter in the advertising field for many years. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Surviving are his daughter, Olivia Sklower, and son, Jedediah Sklower both of Paris, France. In lieu of flowers donations to Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Att: J. Kleinman, 1165 Morris Park Ave. Room 325-E, Bronx, NY 10461, for Alzheimer's research. Funeral services were private, and handled by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff.
