Andrea Halejian Obituary
Andrea Lynn (nee Tilbian), 61, passed away on June 28, 2014. Wife of Dr. Barry Halejian, beloved and devoted mother of Alexis, Eric, Sarah and the late Andrew. Loving daughter of the late Andrew "Andy" and Dovie Tilbian. Andrea lit up the life of anyone she met with her unmatched energy and selfless attitude. She was a graduate of Bucknell University (BS Biology) and Fairleigh Dickenson University (MBA Marketing). She enjoyed a long career as a pharmaceutical representative for Bristol Meyers and most recently worked at her husband's medical practice. She devoted her time and energy to many Armenian Church activities and philanthropic organizations. Barry and Andrea shared a mutual love for A.G.B.U. Camp Nubar where Armenian youth can learn of their heritage and foster lifetime friendships. Andrea also dedicated her life to service through the St. Leon Women's Guild, Sunday School Teacher, Blood Drive Chairwoman and established an Art Docent program at the local Wyckoff elementary school. For many years, she arranged for meals at Eva's Shelter in Paterson, New Jersey. Andrea's love for her family and friends was boundless. She had an incredible quality of making everyone feel special around her. Visitation is Wednesday July 2 from 5-9 PM with an 8 PM memorial service at St. Leon Armenian Church: 12-61 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 3 at 11 AM, also at St. Leon Armenian Church. In lieu of flowers donations in Andrea's memory would be greatly appreciated to A.G.B.U. Camp Nubar 55 E. 59th St. NY, NY 10022 or St. Leon Armenian Church 12-61 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.

Dear Barry and your family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy for your loss. Andrea was always so much fun to be with and she made any occasion even better. She was so welcoming and though I was not born Armenian, I've always loved the Armenian people and your values. I was so surprised to hear the sad news, as the last time I saw Andrea she was as beautiful, vivacious and friendly as always. Dear Barry and family: Lynn and myself were in shock when we heard the sad news. Andrea was the epitome of "life" . Always helping, always energetic, always positive ...I always told Lynn that life was not fair. We cannot always expect good nor can we always expect bad in our lives.
