Dear Andy: I don't know what to say except you are terribly missed by myself and so many people. I often tell my 8 year old daughter that I want to leave a mark in the world before I go, something that will do good for others and be a legacy. Andy you did it without even trying. You have taught me a powerful lesson about leaving a mark. I was trying to exlain to my daughter and here it was all of the time, just be who you are and good to others. Andy, you left your mark and those of us who were lucky to see it and experience it are truly blessed. Happy Easter and I know you are safe in a good place.

Dear Andy: Happy Birthday! We all still miss you every day. I wish you were here so I could get you a funny gift and card. I loved getting funny cards for you. I know you are in a better and happy place with all of your favorite things. Again, Happy Birthday to a one in a million person and friend.

As a childhood friend of Andy's I am truely sadden by his passing. I lived around the block from him growing up (Leonard Dr.). I have fond memories of hanging out with him and his family. He was truely a trustworthy and dependable friend. He was always smiling and you can't forget the backwards hat!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Our home was on Andy's route when I lived in Waldwick. He always had a smile and a kind word; he even helped me with my groceries. He came to our Block Parties. When we moved to Montvale, I would sometimes get mail forwarded with little notes on the envelope, "How ya doin - Andy" or "Happy Holidays! - Andy". He was a good person and a sweet soul.

It is difficult to put into words how very sorry I am at hearing of Andy's passing. He was such a perfect mailman, polite, cheerful, punctual yet he always had time to chat for a few minutes. His warm smile brightened up my day. I will be one of so many in Waldwick who will always miss him. I extend my deepest sympathies to the Entrup Family and to his girlfriend Chris.

OUR FAMILY IS SO VERY SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF ANDY. WE CALLED HIM THE SMILING MAILMAN, HE ALWAYS BROUGHT A SMILE AND THE BIGGEST HEART FOR THE YOUNG AND OLD. WHAT YOU SAW IN ANDY IS WHAT YOU GOT AND THAT IS A GREAT GIFT FOR ANYONE TO HAVE. MY MOTHER LOOKED FORWARD TO THE MAIL EVERYDAY, NOT FOR THE JUNK, BUT FOR ANDY AND A FEW WORDS TO BREAK UP HER DAY.

We are deeply sadden by his passing - he left us too soon. We know Andy through Rob who is married to our niece Lisa. It was always a pleasure to be in his company - he was a fine young man.

Word cannot express how deeply Andy has touched all of us. He was always a positive person and spread cheer among the children of Smithfield Terrace. His loss will be felt for a long time. He made all of us feel like his family. We will miss him greatly.

To the Entrup Family: I was so saddened to hear about Andy. He truly was my friend not my mail carrier. Every holiday Andy knew there would be something waiting for him in the mail slot. During the brutal summers I would regularly put and ice bucket outside with ice and soda in it for him. One conversation we had was how come weird people always wanted to be my friend. That Christmas I got the greatest gift of all a tee-shirt from Andy that said "what am I magnet for freaks". Andy was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. I am glad that I had the time with him, to experience his funny personality, quick wit and kindness. He was also one of the hardest workers I ever met. I could always tell when Andy was off because my mail was usually not right. He truly cared about his job and his customers. I will miss him deeply. His passing is a loss for so many. This is a very SAD day. My days will never be the same again. Andy brought a smile to my face every day. My sympathy goes out to his family and girlfriend (who he talked about alot), and friends. I am proud to have known him. Andy has taught me not to take life for granted. God Bless.
