Andrew Ercolano Obituary

ERCOLANO
Andrew J., 80, of Ridgewood, NJ passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Born and raised in New York City, he resided in Woodcliff Lake for seven years before moving to Ridgewood twenty-seven years ago. Mr. Ercolano was a parishioner of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood.
Andrew was an avid sailor and accomplished woodworker and acrylic paint artist.
Prior to retiring, he owned and operated Glenco and Glen Design in Bergen County.
Beloved husband of Sandra L. (Morales) Ercolano. Loving and devoted father of Andrea Chambers, Michael Ercolano, Robert Ercolano, Christina Creedon and Andrew Ercolano. Cherished grandfather of nine. Dear brother of Rita Frezza, Frances Karman and the late Rosemarie Ercolano.
Cremation will be private. A memorial service is being planned for a later date and details will be posted on the funeral home website when available.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Andrew may be made to the Valley Hospice, 15 Essex Road, Paramus, NJ 07652 or Cancer Awareness Resource Exchange (CARE), Attn: Harvey Kunz, 24 Arrowhead Road, Old Tappan, NJ 07675. Arrangements are being handled by Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home in Fair Lawn, 201-797-3500,
