Anthony Gaeta Obituary
Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life, then in Totowa from 1951 to 1979 before moving to Montville. Gaeta worked for his father at Gaeta Trucking from 1939 to 1951. He was the owner/president of Gaeta Service from 1951 to 1973 and was the president of Gaeta Recycling from 1973 until his retirement in 1996.
Gaeta was a World War II Army veteran.
Husband of the late Dollie Mae (nee Elliott) Gaeta. Father of Anthony Gaeta Jr. of Franklin Lakes, Diane Cerinetti and her husband Frank of Riverdale, and Donna Hart of Montville. Grandfather of Dawn Portannese and John Hart. Great grandfather of Michael Portannese. Brother of Kay Russo and the late Edith Acquafredda and Antoinette George.
Arrangements: Festa Memorial Funeral Home, Totowa.
