Tony was a real good guy. I met him in 1971 on Danforth ave in Paterson. We were neighbors. Had some fun times with him. He liked to laff. I am saddened by his passing. He was way too young to go. I will miss him. May Tony rest in peace in the headquarters in the sky. God Bless you big guy..

Don Lightner

January 4, 2021

I met Tony when he was 12 years old, living in Paterson. I owned a deli and a Liquor Store called Dandy Don’s Liquors. Tony would come in after school for candy & soda. He and I would talk and talk. At 15 he started working for me. He was loyal and trustworthy. We became life long friends. He also became good friends with both my children, Dan and Dana Lightner. My X-wife, Janice, a retired teacher, found Tony to be a special person. The entire Lightner Family, including my brother Kevin and his family and my sister Cathy and her family will remember him fondly.
It is with regret that I am not able to pay my respects in person. I extend my sincere sympathy to his wife and all his children.
