Arnold PERLMUTTER Obituary

PERLMUTTER Arnold, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Wayne, NJ, died Wednesday July 15, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Joseph and Rose (Sklar) Perlmutter. Arnold is survived by his loving wife, Betty Perlmutter of Sarasota, three sons, Michael (Leslie) of Lower Gwynedd, PA, Mitchell (Leslie) of Demarest, NJ, Brett (Mandi) of N. Caldwell, NJ. Four stepchildren, Lisa Baron (Steve) Marina Del Rey, CA, Jennifer Humphrey (Bryant) of Boynton Beach, Florida, Fred Almond of Freeland, MD, and Leslie Jehle (Frank Cosimo) of Sarasota, sixteen grandchildren and many beloved friends.Arnold was an intelligent, gentle, kind and generous man who enjoyed a successful career in his many business endeavors. He was an avid sportsman, who loved the New York Mets, and for 35 years Arnold could be found at the Wayne Y where he enjoyed exercising, playing basketball, tennis and squash. He volunteered at Meals on Wheels and the Social Action committee at Temple Beth Tikvah in Wayne. He a member of the Jewish War Veterans and Ort.Please make any heartfelt donations in memory of Arnold to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum - www.ushmm.org or Alzheimer's Association - www.alz.org

Mrs. Perlmutter, I have the privileged to meet Arnold at the SCC I learn to love Him as well to respect Him we were a team I'm so grateful to the Lord Who Receive Arnold in His Arms where He don't suffer anymore all of my love to you, all specially Janett.
