Charles Witkowski Obituary
Charles, 86, of Wood-Ridge formerly of Jersey City on September 9, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Florence (2005). Loving father of Kenneth Witkowski, Elaine (Joseph) Rutigliano, Thomas Witkowski with (Mark Davila), James Witkowski, and the late Robert Witkowski (2010). Caring grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of two. Before retiring in 1992 Charles was a System Analyst for Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield in New York. A parishioner and usher of Assumption R.C. in Wood-Ridge, and former member of the Holy Name Society and member and past president of the Wood-Ridge Contemporary Club. Charles honorably served his country in the United States National Guard obtaining the rank of Sergeant First Class. Funeral Sat. 10:30 AM from Kohler Funeral Home 280 Hackensack St., Wood-Ridge. Mass 11 AM Assumption R.C. church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting Friday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers Donations to the Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave. Bethpage, NY 11714 would be appreciated.
