To the family of Chris DeSalvo,
My sincere condolences to all of you. I am in total shock and disbelief upon learning of Chris' passing.
Our friendship goes back approximately twenty-five years. Chris and I would talk on the phone every other month. When I didn't hear from him, I called and left a message approximately three weeks ago. Chris would always return my call. During our many conversations, Chris confided in me about his illness. Because of that fact, I had a strange feeling today that I needed to reach out and somehow find out if he was okay. I didn't want to think the worst, but I felt that there was something wrong. I had my friend go on the internet and try to determine if, in fact, Chris had passed away. Upon doing so, I did learn of the devastating news.
I would like you to know that if I had known, I would have, most definitely, attended his funeral and shared my genuine affection and admiration for Chris with all of you.
I would sincerely appreciate someone in the family contacting me so that I can talk with one of you (when you are able to do so). I can be reached in the evenings at my home number - 732.606.0661.
