Concetta Velardo Obituary
Concetta "Connie" (nee Bivona) Velardo, 89, of Lodi on April 2, 2017. Born in Garfield, she lived in Lodi and Garfield all her life. She worked in the family textile business and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin R.C. Church. Predeceased by her parents Ignazio and Francesca. Beloved wife of the late Dominick, Sr. Devoted mother of Dominick Velardo, Jr. and wife Carol Ann of Stuart, FL and Ronald Velardo of Lodi. Loving grandmother of Dominick Valentin Velardo, Melissa Joy Hugle, Victoria Ann Fried and great-grandmother of Tyler Hugle, Nicholas Robert Hugle and Jasmine Fried. Dear sister of the late Jenny Bivona, Frances Przybyciel and Charles Bivona. Cherished aunt of several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday 10AM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi for a 10:30 AM Chapel Service. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
