OWENS - David G. of Paterson, NJ, departed this life on Sunday, September 5, 2004. Beloved husband of the late Florence I. (McDonald) Owens. Dear father of Glaspole "Jimmy," Trevor, Garfield, Franz, Winsome, Sharon Owens, Lorna Gayle, Vivienne Williams, Maxine May and the late Glenworth Owens. Brother of Levi, Kenneth, Arthur, Ralph, Berdie Owens, Delsa Wilson, Blanche Parker, Aida Stone, and the late Harold Owens and Edna Vassel. Grandfather of twenty-two. Great-grandfather of five. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services Saturday, September 11, 2004, 9 AM at the Van Riper Ellis Broadway Baptist Church, Morlot Ave and River Road, Fair Lawn. Interment: Fair Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday, 7-9 PM at the church. Arrangements by Carnie P. Bragg Funeral Home, Inc., 256 Rosa Parks Blvd., Paterson, NJ.
