Erin (O'Brien), 57, of Sherman Oaks, CA. passed away peacefully at her home, on September 26, 2015.
Loving mother to: Nicolette and Dominique DiDia of Los Angeles, CA, close friend to Mark DiDia (CA). Daughter of Jean O'Brien (CA), sister to Gail McGeady (Brian Buckley) (Wayne), Mary Beth O'Brien (CA), Lynn and Terry Quinn (Wayne), brother to J.R. O'Brien (CA). Nieces and nephews: Mark Robinson (Amanda Nelson), Michael and Preston Quinn, Jessica, Jennifer and Charles Brady, Billy and Erica Smith and Brian Smith. Erin joins her loving father Jack O'Brien (2007) and sister Karen Brady (1997).
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday September 30, 2015 at 10 am at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Wayne.

Erin was a member of the Scripps GYN support Group in the La Jolla area...even after she moved back to Sherman Oaks, she stayed on our mailing list so she could be a part of what was going on...we loved her so much..oh, how she made us laugh...cry...her spirit was just enormous...there will never be another one like her...she always shared how much she loved her daughters..how proud she was of them...to everyone that loved her...we are just so sorry to hear this news...there have been tears shed in San Diego today for sure....Love, Cindy Silver

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Erin's. I know how much she was loved. So sorry I couldn't make the memorial, but have been praying for her and everyone she left behind. She was a bright star that won't be forgotten.

Erin was one of the finest people I have ever known. When my wife was dying from ovarian cancer Erin became her friend and coach. I'll love her always for that.
