Francesca Pitasi Obituary
Francesca Zagari Pitasi, of Saddle Brook, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at the age of 85 years. She was born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, and came to this country in 1952. She had worked at Buitoni Company of South Hackensack and was a parishioner at St.Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Carmelo Pitasi who died in 2006. Dearest sister of Salvatore Zagari, Rocco Zagari and the late Pasquale Zagari and Ippolita Farris. Loving sister in law of Giovanna Careri and Antonia Pitasi. Adored aunt of many nieces and nephews. The funeral on Tuesday, May 15th, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with entombment following at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 - 9 PM.
