Frank Aiello Obituary

AIELLO Frank J. Sr. - 70, of North Haledon on November 16, 2007. Born in Paterson he lived in Haledon before moving to North Haledon in 1975. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Golden Gloves Welter Weight Division in the 1950's. He was the owner of Aiello's Fruit Baskets in Prospect Park and a parishioner of St. Paul's R.C. Church also in Prospect Park. Beloved husband of Debra Aiello (nee Robertello). Devoted father of Robert Aiello of North Haledon, Rachel Quinn of Egg Harbor Township, Frank Aiello Jr., Raymond Aiello and Stephen Aiello all of North Haledon. Loving grandfather of Andrew and James Quinn. Dear brother of Tony Aiello and his wife Linda of Vernon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services Monday 9AM at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183.
