Frank Murdaco Obituary

MURDACO
Frank Joseph, of Ridgefield, NJ, entered into eternal rest on August 6, 2012 at the age of 87. Devoted husband of Anna. Beloved father of Francis Joseph Murdaco Jr. MD of Ridgefield Park and his wife Karlene, and Paul Anthony Murdaco of Ephrata, PA and his wife Valerie. Cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren. Frank had been a silk screener for Lightolier, Jersey City, NJ. He was a Veteran of the 63rd Infantry Division of the US Army during World War II. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion Posts of Ridgefield. He was also a member of the Seniors of Ridgefield and vice-president of their entertainment committee. He was a member of the Ridgefield Boys Athletic Organization, was a member of the Planning Board of Ridgefield, and he served for one term as president of the Recreation Commission, Ridgefield. Visiting on Wednesday from 3-7 PM at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 AM to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10:15 AM at St. Matthew's R.C. Church, Ridgefield. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories, Township of Washington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Disabled Veterans of America.
