ROMERO Frank, 81, passed July 9, 2009 in Melbourne, FL, formerly of Dumont, NJ. Veteran of the US Army (1946-1948) and active member of the Spanish-American Veterans Association. Worked for 31 years for the NYC Transit Authority (MABSTO), retiring as a manager. He loved his country, baseball and was an avid Yankee's fan. Born in NYC to the late Francisco and Ernestine Velez Romero. Loving husband of 40 years to Carmen. Devoted father of Anthony and Anette. Cherished grandfather of Isabela.Relatives and friends may attend the funeral from the Hennessey Height Funeral Home, 232 Kipp Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ on Tuesday, July 14th at 8 AM. A funeral service will be offered at the Old North Reformed Church, Dumont at 11 AM. Burial to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Friends may visit on Monday from 7-10 PM.
