Frank SCOZZAFAVA Obituary

SCOZZAFAVA
Frank, 91, of Branchville, died on Monday, February 13, 2017. Mr. Scozzafava was born in Jersey City, lived in Lyndhurst for 15 years, and has been a resident of Branchville for the past 4 years. Frank was a Navy World War II Veteran, who served from 1944 to 1946. He had worked for Consolidated Laundry of Jersey City for 45 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Sacred Heart and Mount Carmel Seniors, both of Lyndhurst. Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty (nee Weeden) in 2001, by his son, Frank Jr. in 1953, by his sister, Rose Ficarra and by his brothers Fred and Joseph Scozzafava. He is survived by his loving children, Joseph Scozzafava & his wife, Barbara, Robert Scoz-zafava & his wife, Valerie, Michael Scozzafava & his wife, Jodi, Anthony Scoz-zafava & his wife, Theresa and Paul Scozzafava & his wife, Susan, by his dear ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, by his sister, Theresa Iorio and by the many devoted caregivers at Bentley Assisted Living.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 9AM then to Sacred Heart Church, where at 10AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be in Frank's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 350 Sparta Avenue, Blg.
