XEFOSGeorge of Tenafly on June 9, 2007. Beloved husband of Amelia (nee Zingone). Loving father of Marian Parmer, John and the late Andrea. Dear brother of Mary Sempepos and the late John, Emanuel and Peter. Beloved grandfather of Sarah, Serene and Talia. George was a veteran of World War II and the battle of the Buldge, receiving 3 Bronze Stars. He was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in New York and Mt. Carmel Church Tenafly. Friends may call at the Barrett Funeral Home 148 Dean Dr. Tenafly on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10 AM Mt Carmel Church Tenafly. Interment St John's Cemetery Queens NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Englewood Hospital Emergency Room Fund 350 Engle St. Englewood NJ 07631 or the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps 400 Riveredge Rd.
