Helen will always be remembered by me as a kind and loving sister. I fondly remember her visits to the 259 Columbia Ave. Cliffside, home where I lived with our dad and mother (Mitchell and Mary Frances Kavanagh Valley). Gene, our brother would also drive us to Helen and Red's home in New Milford for holiday visits. "Grandma Valley" always loved to cook for the family get-togethers.
Being the youngest, there's a 24 year difference in age, but I can still remember the good times.
I even remember Billy visiting Grandma Valley in Miami and sending a postcard to Helen saying that he just bought a "snake". Helen told me later that she nearly fainted.....but what he really meant was that he bought a "snack".
With Loving Memories....Sister Carolyn
