Helen Steinbinder Obituary

STEINBINDER
Helen 92, of Butler, NJ, passed away July 2, 2015. She was born in New York, NY, to the late Charles and Mary Steinbinder. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church in Butler and a supporter of St. Anthony Church School. A graduate of Manhattanville College, Helen continued her education at Columbia University, achieving a Masters of Library Science and graduated with a Doctorate of Law from Georgetown University Law School as part of the first female class. She then went on to be the first female Law Professor at Georgetown Law School. She is survived by her nephew, Christopher Scherb, his wife Debbie and three children, Amanda, Daniel and Tyler, and her niece, Diane Grifenhagen, her husband Stuart and three children, Melissa, Jenny and Benjie. Viewing hours will be Sunday, July 5th, 2015 from 3-6PM at Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 AM also at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
