Herb and Adrien, just saw the obituary for Janet. So sorry. I´m so glad she lived to enjoy life after all she went through during the BMT. We all certainly had to deal with a lot during that stressful time.
Our Jennifer is still with us. She will be 52 Dec18. She has had a lot of issues. Breast CA and a huge basal cell CA on her head. She has multiple brain tumors ( meningiomas). She started with 6 had to have two removed so she could speak. Now has many more. One is on her brain stem. She says she will never have surgery again. She does seem to really enjoy life. She has the nicest husband and they live in out in-law´s apt. He takes care of the yard and all. We have several acres to mow and maintain. We bought a small farm (32 acres) back before we retired. We are so lucky she has him and she is too.
I don´t know if you remember our son Joshua, we lost him Dec 11 2014. Had a massive coronary.
I´m sorry to go on. I certainly hope you are both doing well.
Joe Garner from Indianapolis back then 1981.

Janet was a participant in the vision loss alliance of NJ wellness program in Bergen County. She was a pleasure to know and I cherish the time that we spent together at the Wellness program.
