Javier Cuervo Obituary
Jefferson Township - Javier Cuervo 51, of Jefferson Township, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Born in Paterson, NJ he was raised in Fair Lawn prior to settling in Jefferson Township 22 years ago. A graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Javier was a parishioner of St. John Vianney RC Church in Stockholm, NJ. An active member of the Jefferson Twp. community, Javier would often be seen coaching sports and volunteering. Javier will be remembered best for his love for family and friends.
Javier was employed as a sales associate with the Coca Cola Bottling Company in Carlstadt for many years.
Beloved husband of Mary Anne (Fitzgerald) Cuervo. Cherished father of Matthew, Kevin, Christopher, Jonathan, Nicole and Alana Cuervo. Loving and devoted son of Gabriel Cuervo and the late Mariela Cuervo. Adored brother of Liliana Cuervo and Martha Cuervo and husband Hugo.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, 2 - 7PM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410, (201) 797-3500. A Funeral Mass is planned for Monday, October 15, 2018 12:00PM at St. Anne RC Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. Cremation to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Orange, NJ.
