Found a letter John wrote to my dad, Larry Stoliker, in 1983. Guess they worked on Evita together. Sounded like they were good friends. Sorry they never got to catch up before John passed.

John my dear friend you lived life to the fullest that is for sure. You and I had plenty of great times and wonderful memories. You where truly my lost brother and I loved you dearly. We had good times, sad times and loved and lived life together for many years. You will truly be missed but I know we will see each other at the watering hole in heaven one day brother and let the cold beer flow. Now get on your big and ride sweet brother like the painting on the side of the wagon off into the sun set. RIP

My dear friend John, I will always carry you in my heart. I cherish the memories of you taking me to Rutts Hut every Thursday night on the bike just to give me a break from as you put it "working my life away", and how everytime I got in the "vette" I begged you to get seat belts installed, and you always said "why, I'll keep you safe". More than anything I cherish the memories of you coming to make sure I got home safely from locking up at "B and A" and the times we would sit out on the back porch just looking at the view of the NY skyline. I will always carry you in my heart <3 Sandy
