John Cariello Obituary

CARIELLO John J., 78, of Little Falls, died Wednesday. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Cariello resided in Queens from 1952-1979 when he moved to Little Falls, NJ and resided there ever since. He retired in 1994 from Diamond Manufacturing Co. of Huntington, NY. Mr. Cariello was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War earning the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, UN Service Medal and ROK Presidential Unit Citation. Mr. Cariello was a member of Henry Buikema Post #121, American Legion of Little Falls; Vice President of the Little Falls Golden Age Club and a member of the Jolly Seniors of Little Falls. He was predeceased by his sister, Grace Nardone. Survivors include: his wife, the former Concetta Tranchina; his five children, Patricia Perricone and her husband, Michael of North Brunswick, NJ, Anthony Cariello and his wife, Trish of Pine Island, NY, Linda Marconi and her husband, Charles of Oradell, NJ, Joann Byrnes and her husband James of Monroe Twsp., NJ and John Cariello and his wife, Colette of Clifton; his sister, Antoinette Cariello of Brooklyn, NY; and his seven grandchildren, Steven and Daniel Marconi; James, Jeffrey and Jamie Byrnes; Jonathan Cariello and Michelle Oliver. Funeral Services will be 9:15 AM Saturday from Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls and 10 AM at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories, Twsp. of Washington. Visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to The ALS Association, Development Department, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite 150, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301.
