John LOWE Obituary

LOWE John, 83, of Gainesville, Florida (formerly of Ridgewood, NJ) died March 15, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Katherine and his son, John Jr., and his wife, Jean; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.He served in World War II as a US Navy cryptographer. He retired in 1982 after working 35 years in the former Bell Telephone System, serving in various capacities with the original AT&T, New York Telephone and Western Electric Companies. He was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville.A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Faith Catholic Church on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 9 AM with Fr. John Phillips as Celebrant.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in the memory of John Lowe, Sr to: Bergen Catholic High School 1040 Oradell Ave. Oradell, NJ 07649 or Holy Faith Catholic Church 747 NW 43rd Street Gainesville, FL 32607.Arrangements are under the care of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown 404 North Main Street.
