Dearest Vera and family,

Our hearts are saddened to learn of John's death. We are so thankful, though, that he was surrounded as he was by so many loved ones in his final days. Your family has been an inspiration to ours as we've watched it grow with spouses and grandchildren. May God richly bless and comfort each one of you during this sad and trying time.
