Joseph Guidetti Obituary

GUIDETTI - Joseph A., age 81, of Stillwater Township, formerly of Wyckoff, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Newton Memorial Hospital. Joe was a graduate of The University of Bridgeport, received his Master's degree from William Paterson University and retired in 1990 after thirty-six years as a teacher, coach, and guidance councilor for the Ridgewood School System. He was a member of the Midland Park American Legion Post, an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II and was inducted into the Bergen and Passaic County's Semi Pro Baseball Hall Of Fame. Beloved husband of Anna Marie (nee Fleck). Loving father of Mary D. Guidetti and her fiance Walter Mc Coll of Wyckoff, Edward J. and his wife Mary Pat of Middletown, NY and Jane A. Guidetti of Stillwater Township. Brother of Geraldine Riley of Lodi and Rita Di Lascio of Lyndhurst. Predeceased by his sister Emily Cornell and his brother Ray Guidetti. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 17, 5 PM at The Franklin Lakes Presbyterian Church, 730 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes NJ 07417 followed by a time of fellowship at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wills Eye, 840 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107 www.willseye.org. Arrangements by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff.
