I Just Returned From Vacation Today & Heard This Sad News. My Prayers Go Out To His Family & Friends. I Remember How Caring & Protective He Was Off His Children Hayley & Lil' Joey.
Although Joe Could Be A Handful (like I know I am also), I Know His Heart Was Always In The Right Place. I Met Him In 2007 At Work & We Worked Closely Together On Health & Safety Initiatives For Our Department.
I Was The H&S Chair In Edison & He Was My Right Hand Man. He Was Passionate About Safety & It Showed. This Was A Side Job We Took On As Our Real Day Jobs Were Gas Delivery Training & Development Specialists.
We Both Moved On To Other Positions In The Company, But Crossed Paths Frequently Enough To Keep In Touch With Each Other As We Were Quick To Defend/Brag About Our Sports Team Allegiance.
I Will Remember His Quick Wit, Tough Exterior, With A Soft Interior, & The Energy He Always Seem To Have In Abundance. R.I.P. My Friend.

I'll always remember you as the tough scrappy kid that I met in fifth grade that didn't take crap from anyone. You were also the best little league umpire I've seen. I'll miss seeing you. Rest easy.

Regards,

Jim Koren
