Josephine PALERMO Obituary

PALERMOJosephine (nee Davino), age 72, of Oradell died Friday, July 16, 2010. Beloved wife of Nicholas for 50 years. Devoted mother of Jennifer Palermo and Cristina Havens. Loving grandmother of Tucker Edwards and Kennedy and Jack Havens. For the last seven years Josephine was in sales at Gerson Jewelers in Ridgewood, NJ. She was a communicant at St. Joseph's Church in Oradell/New Milford for over thirty-five years. She was an active sports enthusiast enjoying competitive paddle tennis. Josephine received her Associates Degree in Applied Science with Honors from Bergen Community College and attended St. Peter's College, Englewood Cliffs pursuing a Bachelors Degree. Friends and family may visit Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. Funeral service Monday 10 AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home then to St. Joseph's RC Church, Oradell for a 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated. volkleberfuneralhome.com
