Krista Gasparic Obituary
Krista Gasparic, 98, of Westwood, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Marijan. Devoted mother of Kornelija Suric and her husband Zvonko; John and his wife Barbara; Al and his wife Patty. Loving grandmother of Mijo, Jessica (Michael), Jaclyn (Kosta), Kristopher (Roberta), Lynn and Diana (Glenn) ; Great grandmother of 7. She is predeceased by 4 sisters and 1 brother. Born in Olib, Croatia, Krista came to the United States in 1961to New York City, living in North Bergen and Paramus before moving to Westwood 5 years ago. She worked for Service Employees International Union Local 32BJ, New York, cleaning offices.
The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass celebrating Krista's life and faith will be held at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, on Wednesday 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friends of OLIB Charity, Inc., P.O. Box 30309, New York, NY 10011
