Louis Liggieri Obituary
Louis Liggieri, 84, died peacefully at home with his family on April 29, 2018. Born and raised in Paterson and Totowa, he lived in Lodi and finally settled in Paramus 46 years ago. Lou was a member of the Rochelle Park American Legion, US Army 82nd Airborne Veteran and a parishioner of Our Lady of Visitation R.C. Church. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary. Beloved husband of the late Rosary (nee DiChiara). Devoted father of LouAnn Liggieri-Stiefel of Paramus, Mary-Jo Janiec and husband Buddy of Wallington and Kristine Liggieri and Dino Tahinos of Fair Lawn. Loving grandfather of Eddie and Val, Nicole and Ben, Julia, Joseph and Lexi. Dear brother of Edward and the late Peter Liggieri and Rose Maggenti. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday 9:00 AM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 300 Main St., Lodi, for an 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Visitation Church in Paramus. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 5-9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Disable American Veterans, P.O. Box 14302, Cincinnati, OH 45250
