Michael Carbone Obituary
Dr. Carbone was born and raised in Pequannock. In 1997, he opened the Carbone Chiropractic Center in Florham Park, now known as the multi-disciplinary Total Health Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center. In 2001, he opened multiple practices in Ohio, and in 2010 he acquired a chiropractic office in Berkeley Heights, now known as the multi-disciplinary Peak Medical. He holds a certificate from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and a diplomat from the American Academy of Pain Management. He is a certified Chiropractic Sports Medicine Specialist and holds a certificate in electrodiagnostics from the New Jersey Board of Chiropractic and the American Association of Sensory Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He also is certified in manipulation under anesthesia and the treatment of repetitive trauma disorders. He earned his chiropractic licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. And, he was an active member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors, and the American Chiropractic Association
Arrangements are by the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, Wayne. Interment will be at the First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Voices Against Brain Cancer, 1375 Broadway, Third Floor, New York, NY 10018.
Dr. Carbone is survived by his wife, the former Alison Sebzda; his son, Michael; his daughter, Alexandra; his mother, Marta; and his brothers, John, Christopher, Joseph, and Demetro.
He was predeceased by his father, John.

It is uncanny that I was just talking about Michael yesterday. Michael is and always will be a person that will be remembered with such fondness. He would always laugh at my sarcastic humor. I miss him and his incredible warm heart

I just learned the other day that Dr Carbone passed away. I ran into Lori at a cycle class and who still works at the practice. I used to go there for my back issues and he and the entire staff were always wonderful. I am at a total loss over this. As many have already said so eloquently he was truly one of the most nicest person you can meet in your life time. He was so caring of others, very professional and a wonderful soul. You don't find too many genuine and down-to-earth people. I pray for his wife and children as well as the rest of his family. Have comfort in knowing that you will see him again. May GOD continue to cormfort all of you and may you also cherish the many wonderful memories you have of Dr. Carbone. GOD Bless!

I recommended Total Health to so many people because Dr. Carbone. He was simply wonderful. I recently recommended it to a close friend and they just told me he has passed. I am sad to learn about this and my heart and prayers go to his family . He will live in the memory of many people whom he touched and help to heal.

I was just speaking to my daughter-in-law, and recommended her to Total Health. She called me back and told me of Dr. Carbone's passing. I am so upset about hearing this. He was a wonderful human being and guided me many years through my problems & pain, giving me guidance and support, in addition to healing. My heartfelt sympathy and thoughts go out to his family, friends and all of the staff at Total Health. My heart is truly broken over losing such a great person.

I worked for Dr. Carbone for a brief time while in HS, when he first opened his practice. In that short time, I saw what a compassionate, talented and kind person he was - and how much he truly cared about his patients. I was shocked and saddened to hear news of his passing. I am very saddened by the news of Dr. Carbone's death. He was a good man and did not deserve to have his life cut so abruptly. He was loving family man, friend to many, and talented doctor. As a student, I was able to spend a summer with Dr. Carbone and his staff. He was never too busy to offer me advice or help. He created a wonderful atmosphere with good friendly people that I greatly enjoyed my time with. Rest in peace Dr. Carbone, you were a good person.
