Michael KENNY Obituary

KENNY
Michael P. Jr., 72, of Saddle Brook on Friday, July 18, 2014. Michael was born on August 8, 1941 and grew up in Hoboken, NJ. He moved to Saddle Brook in 1967. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Marie Elaine, and his children and their spouses, Mike and his wife, Karen, Charles and his wife, Jill, David and his wife, Lynn, and Rosemarie Rudd and her husband, Ed. In addition, he is also survived by his eleven loving grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Allyson, Giuliana, Charles, Lauren, Jonathan, Jason, Caitlyn, Katie and Abby and his dear sister, Patricia Keefe and her late husband Hugh. Michael work-ed for the Thomas J. Lipton Tea Company (now known as Unilever) of Englewood Cliffs for 30 years retiring in 1999. He was a U.S. Army Military Veteran and also served with the U.S. Army Reserve. Michael is a graduate of Seton Hall University and was a member and past President of the Hoboken Jaycees. He also served on the Saddle Brook Board of Education for 15 consecutive years from 1974 to 1989 and was former President of the Board. He is a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church and also served as an Usher. He is a past president of the Saddle Brook High School Band Parents. Funeral services from Kugler Community Home For Funerals 311 Fifth Street Saddle Brook. Funeral mass on Tuesday, July 22 10:30 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Saddle Brook. Committal services to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday, July 21 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saddle Brook Volunteer Ambulance Corps. or for Parkinson's Disease Foundation and Research.

How can anyone ever forget that laugh? How can anyone ever forget the kind and gentle man, that he was. Uncle Mike, I was proud to call you my godfather. The life you led and the values that you have bestowed on your family is something that will carry on for generations to come.
