Nancy D'Esterre Obituary
Nancy Mae D'Esterre, 93, of Montville, formerly a longtime resident of Pompton Plains, died Thursday, January 4, 2018.
Born in New York City, Nancy was the daughter of Harold and Gertrude Reynolds. Marrying Normand D'Esterre, the couple settled in Pompton Plains, raising four children together.
In addition to raising her children, Nancy worked as a secretary for Union Carbide in Wayne, and later for Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains. Following her retirement, she continued to volunteer for Chilton for many years.
A longtime member of the First Reformed Church in Pompton Plains, Nancy was active with the Phoebe Circle there. She was also known for her sewing skills.
Nancy is survived by her children, Normand and his wife Barbara, Deanne Jacobs, June Hawk and her husband Tyler, and Joyce Kellenbach and her husband Robert; her brother, Donald Reynolds; 15 grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Normand, and her sisters, Shirley Walsh and Lois MacCoun.
Visiting will be held Sunday from 3-7 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 10 am Monday at the First Reformed Church, 529 Newark Pompton Tpke., Pompton Plains, NJ. Burial will follow in the church's cemetery.

I just saw that Nancy had passed in the Dow Newsletter. My condolences to her family. I worked with her in Union Carbide and she was a wonderful person.
