Nancy Serafin

East Rutherford - Nancy Serafin (nee DeNonno), 92, of East Rutherford for 15 years and formerly of Carlstadt, passed away on April 19, 2021. Prior to retiring, she worked at Boiling Springs Savings Bank in Rutherford for many years. Mrs. Serafin was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church and a member of the Columbiettes in Hackensack. Nancy liked to socialize at the East Rutherford Civic Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, watching game shows on tv, making rosary beads and was a devoted Yankee fan. Beloved wife of the late Walter Serafin. Loving mother of Nanette Cangialosi, Donna Russo and her husband Stephen, John Serafin and his wife the late Jane Serafin and Paul Serafin and his wife Lisa. Cherished grandmother of Andrea Mangione and her husband Michael, Nicole Cangialosi, Lisa Russo, Timothy Russo and his wife Amanda, Kevin Russo and great grandmother of Vincent, Anthony, Cameron, Evelyn and Della. Also survived by Jane and John's son John Greco, his wife Karen and their children Kaitlyn and Christopher. Visitation Friday 4-8 PM. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 9:00 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
